My sister in law got one of those fancy sewing machines where she can sew fancy patterns onto clothing, and many other items. She is trying to start a business doing this. I was hoping to get some advice on ways she could get more customers. I know one thing she is going to do is go to craft fairs.

Hi, I know it's been a long time since your post, I hope her business is going well. Craft fairs are great, be sure to take lots of business cards for future orders. A website is ideal even if you just want to sell things in your local area because people can keep checking back to see what's new at a convenient time for them without making appointments, or even leaving their home. If you do the website get word of mouth out everywhere you can. If you know someone who works at a large company, they usually have electronic bulletin boards you can post links on(I do that at my own work).
